I know a lot of people on this list have dealt with U.S. Customs so they might be able to answer a question for me? I went to a flea market saturday and bought one of those flashlights you shake to build up a charge to light it. Never needs batteries. To get to the point the wires from the coil are not connected to any thing . The magnet is just a plain metal rod, no magnetism what so ever. The LED is powered by a pair of CR2025 3V lithium button cells in series. Are lithium cells Environmentally sound ? If you read the outside of the box every thing they say on it would make you believe it is an authentic Shaker or faraday type flash light. Any one else seen these? I will not go into more details if some one wants to know more contact me OFF LIST. But here is my question to those with years of experience on the list. The description of the flash light is totally incorrect from what is in the box. Isn't that one of the things U.S. Customs is supposed to be checking and prevent from entering our country and impounding.
