Thanks for having a look Dave.  The power supply is from an existing
ignition system that I'm modifying, and it didn't make much sense to me to
have the diodes in there the way they had it.  I even question the caps an
the values used, as the datasheet for the LM2937 calls for low-ESR caps to
be used.
