The >NAME field should be on the "tNames" layer and >VALUE on the "tValues"
layer.  I suggest you switch the font to FIXED and use either 0.07" or
0.056" for the text size (convert to mm as necessary).  Use a text ratio
between 8 and 12% for schematics.  When you create the layout symbol you may
need to alter the size and ratio to keep the line width above 6 to 8 mil,
generally the lower limit for silkscreening.
