I think the two names of the Microchip engineers sound familiar.
I guess that Steve Bible should be Steven Bible, who wrote the
firmware for PICkit 2. It is Joseph Julicher who wrote the Mac
software for PICkit 1. The codes for PICkit 1 and PICkit 2 can
be downloaded here:
