But it is so obviously useful that I think Microchip will probably put it in an extra ROM inside every future PIC chip. This would finally put programming in reach of everyone who has the appropriate tools - in this case: a 5V battery and an candle. Maybe uChip should add a buil-in thermopile to eliminate the 5V supply?
