So you are best not to mess with the RTCC, just let it roll over and do its thing.....just load w with an appropriate value for each of the interrupt periods, and then RETIW. That will properly take care of things. And, yes, compound instructions are counted properly. The assembler turns them into their appropriate number of elements.
