You need to use the "Invoke" command (middle of the left hand column, looks like four AND gates) to display the other connections. It's useful for things like adding an individual gate to a schmatic instead of having to route all the traces back to a multi gate package. Some library parts use it for the power connections in an effort to simplify the look of a schematic.
