I have the equivalent "stuff" here. We have never seen the failures here that happen in the casinos. I have a half dozen or more of the board that I can grab. But they aren't the one that failed.... Shipping the whole slot back here probably doesn't make much sense. Failure do not seem to be specific to the same cabinet over and over but instead across a bunch of cabinets. In this case they are accommodating but so far I haven't proven anything about what could cause the failures. If I can't reproduce the problem it's a lot harder to fix. > -----Original Message----- > From: piclist-bounces@mit.edu [mailto:piclist-bounces@mit.edu] On Behalf > Of alan smith > Sent: Friday, February 10, 2006 11:15 AM > To: Microcontroller discussion list - Public. > Subject: Re: [PIC] question from someone new to the list > > I wonder....if you could write some sort of log, to the EEPROM (have to be > carefull how much you store of course) and when if fails, take a look at > stored data. > > The frustrating thing is, they send you back the CHIP and say...whats > wrong?
