I wonder....if you could write some sort of log, to the EEPROM (have to be carefull how much you store of course) and when if fails, take a look at stored data. The frustrating thing is, they send you back the CHIP and say...whats wrong? Honestly do they believe you can troubleshoot it without at least the board it plugs into, let alone the machine?
