It must have been something heavy - for ordinary components he usually charges $1.85 within the US (and as 
little as possible extra for us foreigners! :-)  And using Global Priority it often takes no longer to cross 
the pond than you described above.

I have only praise for his standard of service, it's just a shame he hasn't got time to update the web site, 
and produce the newsletter that he announced a couple of years ago :-)
