I know that some of you use Thunderbird, with Windows, for email. So perhaps someone can give me some suggestions for solving a perplexing problem. The junk mail controls seem to work very well for identifying junk, but I cannot seem to make it automatically move them to the Junk folder. They just go into the Inbox. Under Tools-> Junk Mail Controls I have the box checked for "move incoming messages determined to be junk mail to Junk folder on local folders." I also have the box checked for "when I manually mark messages as junk move them to the Junk folder, and it does that OK. But it does not automatically move the incoming messages that it has correctly judged to be junk, and so marked, to the Inbox. Thanks for any suggestions. It is annoying, because in order to manually delete the stuff I have to first click on it, which means that there is no way to escape at least catching a glimpse of the contents, which is a pain.
