Sure thing, I don't have an example with say, half-blown, half-not, but here's the exact same set of traces as above from another copy of that board: http://petertodd.ca/persist/2006-02-05/pcb_fuses_intact.jpg I think at worse a frensle lense would be just fine for making the whole thing visible. Heck, put a magnifying glass on a string next to the peice when it's on display. Backlighting could be interesting... Make it so the peice's back is fully transparent, so you could hang it by a window. I think even standard PCB material is translucent enough to achieve that.
