I solved the problem with using a snubber circuit for each relay. To be precise, the SX was swithing sixteen 12V DC relays and they were switching another sixteen 230AC relays connected to large inductive loads. Again, after using a snubber circuit (Cap + RES) for each relay, the problem was completely solved. By the way, I've tried multi layer PCB boards for supply and Ground planes, metal enclosures for shielding etc. I've pretty much tried everything possible but the SX was unstable and the worst was that it would reset or do a "jump" in the middle of an important task !!! Think about that ! Also, don't forget an Inline filter if you are powering the board from the same power supply. (AC) I believe this solution would definately solve your problem. ---------- End of Message ---------- You can view the post on-line at: http://forums.parallax.com/forums/default.aspx?f=7&p=2&m=105106#m107146 Need assistance?
