OOooookei guys, i know it does not sound too good me replying to my
own messages but i solved the mistery by myself. Apparently i was too
stupid to see the flow control set to "hardware" when i connected the
picdem2 to the pc's serial port using hyperterminal.
I just set the dropdown to "none" and i can now see my own typing echoed
back to the hyperterminal.
Well, now that pooling is working i will try the interrupt way of doing
serial. Don't really know if i will need it but... :-)
