I would say that there probably isn't much point in such a translator 
other than it's something I want to do just because I want to do it.   
It is an interesting project, and my reply to Jan-Erik's response 
probably says it all.  One of  the joys of being both retired and a 
hobbyist.  :-)

Yes, that will be  the next step.  The translator merely produces a 
starting point.
