Hi, Tag added..... To produce a mono signal from a stereo one, you simply need to add the left and right siganls together (which is what your ears would do to get the mono signal if you were a long way away from the loudspeakers). You could do this using an op amp (ne5534 or better) as an adder or possibly by taking the left and right pcm values and adding them together and scaling before conversion.
