Audience is whoever takes the class. ;-) I'll probably target it at people who are quite comfortable with electronics: they know how to wire up a 555, maybe have done a few little projects out of a Radio Shack project book, and have a reasonable idea of what current, voltage, and wattage imply. Maybe they've written a few odd programs for their PC. I'd like to introduce them to simple wait state loops first, then timers, then maybe LCD driving, ADC, and maybe even serial port to the PC. At the end of the class, I'd like them to feel comfortable ordering a PIC or two from Digikey with a plan for it, and to have the toolkit necessary to work with it.
