 Don't feel too bad about missing out on the CD-ROM.  I bought a copy of th=

when the CD was included and it was as problematic as the text was (is).  F=
ew of
the links worked so you had to search for the file in question (which often=

completely different name from the one listed) and there was much missing m=
aterial.

The book itself was essentially unreadable with the typos and missing secti=
ons of
text.

I would be careful with the PIC programmer as shown in the book.  In my cop=
y at
least, there are some mislabeled / backwards components.

 Its really too bad this book turned out so awful ....I can tell there is a=
 wealth
of information in it, but it is an impossible read.  (At least my copy was).
