I have some new findings: 1) MPLAB IDE 7.30/MPLAB C30 2.00 work very well under Linux FC4 with Wine even though the IDE is not working with MPLAB C18. Maybe this is because that MPLAB C30 is based on GCC (except the optimizer and license manager). I've reported the progress here: http://forum.microchip.com/tm.aspx?m=112347 2) It is not so difficult to get native Linux version of C30 working under Linux (tested with Fedora Core 4 and Ubuntu 5.10). The optimizer is there though. The following thread covers the links to RPM and Debian packages. http://forum.microchip.com/tm.aspx?m=94243 Regards, Xiaofan -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
