What's interesting is the high voltage tolerant port, so you can have an arbitrary supply voltage like 7.2v, and then port B's I/O would operate in a 7.2 volt environment, too. And it would tolerate a drifting battery voltage, from a digital standpoint, assuming you are aware of the implications.
