I /use/ my repository. Which means that when someone other would run a backup on a sandbox, I usually commit the files and run a backup on the repository. Gives me the best of both worlds and then some: I have always a current backup of the most recent changes /and/ I have backed up all history. Since the backup is incremental, only changed files get backed up. Which is not that much, and runs quite fast.
