When thinking about backup (incremental or otherwise), I'd strongly recommend that you back up your repository, not a sandbox or an export. Anyway, if you are so inclined, of course you can dump revision differences with cvs/cvsnt also. But I wouldn't call that a "backup", that's why I didn't mention it.
