I'll be in LA this coming weekend (mid Thursday to mid Monday)
and I'm wondering if any PICLister's want to grab a beer or coffee
or cigar or sandwich and shoot the bull for a little while.

Also wondering what anyone would tell me not to miss in the
area.  I have NO commitments during that time; it is a purely
enjoyment-based trip with a car rental involved.  Cost is not
NO object, but suitably interesting attractions will be evaluated
with an eye towards experiencing the best the area has to offer
rather than minimizing price.

James, in particular, if it's at all within range, I'd like to meet you.
