In case anyone is in the market for a set of math subroutines for the 18F452 (and presumably other members of that family) there is a set available for download at www.picbook.com. This is the site for the Peatman book on programming the 18F452, and in the book he explains that the subroutines were developed by Microchip, put into a form for use by the MCC18 compiler, and are available for download with the free (student) version of that compiler. What Peatman has done (or, to be more accurate, what one of the people working with him has done) is to modify those MCC18 subroutines for standalone use in assembly code. I know that there are math subroutines available at other places, and have no earthly idea how these stack up against them. So this is just FYI. :-) John -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
