Yours is a real, bonafide address., and is unlikely to be able to handle the onslaught. To see how mine works, send me an email, anything, on any subject. These days, people have email addresses for different purposes. Everybody needs public addresses, but nobody needs one that will expose them to inordinate spam and viruses. Let me explain it more clearly. Assume you are a celebrity, say Brad Pitt. Do you think you would want to publish your real email address ANYWHERE? "real" messages from friends would never make it through the spam, fan mail, threats, Nigerian money deals, etc. The same will happen to you, and your "real" address will be hammered.
