Maybe a dumb question, I have a motor chip MC33887, which has a few features, like current use of motor. I wanted to define two gnd classes one for powering the motor and one for the current sense. This would make it easier to auto route, since the motor current would be on a 40 mil route and the motor current sense would be on a 20 mil route trace. Does this make sense to do ? Is it possible to define two ground classes for one chip ?
