You just can't launch the new SxSim from the current IDE. BTW, the IDE always clears any existing .LST files when it closes if configured to "SASM files to 'SASM output' dir." Either assemble your code and copy the .LST without closing the IDE or uncheck the option in the configuration dialog. If unchecked, the .LST files (and the other files that SASM creates) will be stored in the same directory as the source file and won't be removed when the IDE closes.
