if you want this specific book;get it off Amazon.In my opinion this book is over-priced
and contains  too  much    space!.A really good beginners book is due out January 06
titled 'PIC in practice-a project-based approach' ISBN 0750668261.Written by the head of electronics at Manchester University,here in Northwest England.i have the previous title
(prior to this update) and it is REALLY good,and concise;which for a newbie is important
most more 'complete' books end up as door stops before you can actually understand
how to program a PIC.Good Luck
