In SX Microcontrollers, SX/B Compiler and SX-Key Tool, sammishal wrote: I think I am starting to get it. The SX/B code is just generating the code for the SHIFTIN insitu, no ISR nada. The insitu code seems to just read the input pin into the 0 bit of the store and RL the store and then clock the clock pin. No timing pauses nada, it seems to just do it at the rate of the clock cycle. But the code has assumed that 4MHz is the speed, so maybe it does not matter at this speed. I will have to see the posible variations M/LSBPRE/POST and see how the code differs. I also still have to do it for the SHIFTOUT..........sheeeh But I think it is simpler than I thought it ought to be.
