Jinx; I just tried clearing C-bit before running the main-loop. Stil the
same problem. I fear that it might be another problem indeed!

Hector:  I am simulating it in MPLAB, because it doesn't work like I want it
to on the real thing. I define TEMP_VAR like so:    TEMP_VAR    RES    1.
