You may want to make sure that the connector on your new power supply
is wired the same as the one being replaced, as well.  I think Dell
stopped using a standard ATX connector wired in a non-standard way a
few years back, but having rewired two supplies for my Pentium
Pro-based system (yeah, it's not exactly brand new, but it works just
fine) I've grown accustomed to at least verifying the color codes if
not disassembling the supply before installing a new one in an "OEM"
PC.
