Man, NZ sucks - I thought it was supposed to be a nice place to visit/live. :) And yes, I'd still think that there's no reason to intentionally make things worse for yourself by smoking - unless the cool kids are also doing it. Visit any smog-filled large American city and you're sure to see a "stop-smoking" billboard somewhere.
