Very good scheme. I think bait cars are used in NZ but not
widely (possibly only high risk areas, like Auckland CBD on
Friday/Saturday nights) and not with internal cameras or locks,
just surveilled. I'm sure I saw one or two on a cop reality
program a couple or more years ago

Electronic trackers seem to take care of the upper-end of the
market, it's the little scrotes who pinch the working man's car
who are the real nuisance
