Why not develop the concept of a PIC10FXXX button: a separate unit oftwo bu=
ttons and PIC10FXXX software emulating SPI or I2C. Each suchunit should hav=
e its own bus address.
It would cost a buck or so for two buttons. This would give youextremely fl=
exible and expandable system: just add a button "as yougo". You can place a=
 button wherever you like.
The family devices would be "one button =96 one lamp" and "two lamps".I bet=
, the PCB for dozen such devices, buttons and preprogrammed PICswould sell =
well over PICList.
