How about converting wmv to mpg with something like
TMPGEnc first ? Just interested because I have a DVD
writer but not made anything DVD-compatible with it yet

Also, does anyone have experience with using DVD-RAM ? I
see a local outfit has 9.4GB DVD-RAM disks for a few $$$
and it seems a cheap way of archiving/storing a lot of data
