Must be a side effect of a recently released hot fix for Windows or some
part of it.  I do not use mobsync but in the last 2 weeks or so I have had
the same issues with the "freezing" with considerable frequency.

I do have automatic update download and install turned on so I have to
look to see if anything was applied in the last 2 weeks.
