Well, I'll tell you that, in general, I dislike Bridgestone tires. Then again, I tend to drive relatively heavy vehicles, and I don't have vehicles which are too good for snow. I also don't buy snow tires, so I need tires that behave as well as possible in the dry, without making my car a death machine in the winter snow / rain. Most recently, I've been quite impressed with Kumho's Ecsta line - but you didn't ask about those. I'd really push to give either of the Toyos a try, as people I know who run Toyo in general have been quite pleased with them. I don't expect that to help much, really. But I will ask a related question - have you considered moving up to a 15 or 16 inch rim? Removing some of that sidewall will make a bigger difference in control than much of anything else, and you'll likely find a whole lot more tire choice. I'm not sure precisely what your car looks like or what your goals are in that department, but some powdercoated steel wheels in a larger diameter can look pretty cool and can generally be found for a very low price... :) Ok, I'm done not answering the question now. --Danny -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
