Hi All Something I've never seen an answer to; When programming using ICSP, the pic is usually all connected up as it would be used. However, if one uses a seperate(AN589)programmer, do all the other I/O lines need a resistor of sorts to load the ports, say 100K. It's just it's never good to leave pins floating, but I've never seen a programmer schematic where all the lines besides the prog lines are tied high or low. So, question is, will any damage be done to the pic if allowed to run in the programmer where input lines are left unterminated?
