I just wanted to refresh this a bit. My wife and I did the level two workshop in mid November. While it becomes increasingly difficult to talk in specifics due to the confidentiality agreements, I wanted to say that we found it very rewarding, and are looking forward to the next workshop. We are talking about becoming volunteers, and possibly interns with HAI, to help others grow. (see their site for definitions). The benefits that we gained at level 1 are even stronger today than they were, so this is not some temporary "shine" that wears off in a few weeks. We are more committed to each other, and more solidly in love than we ever had been before. We have faced some huge issues, and it's been wonderful. I know from some of the comments that I received, that some of you got the wrong ideas about HAI from what I said earlier and I feel bad about that. I wish I were skilled enough to show you in words what it is, but I suspect that if I were, I wouldn't be writing assembler code for a living :) This isn't something just for damaged and desperate relationships. It's not a "new age religion" or "Swinging". There are no tapes to buy. Cults try to control people. HAI is just the opposite. The only restriction is the confidentiality, which I entered into voluntarily. Now that I see what's on the other side of the veil, I completely agree that without the confidentiality, it wouldn't work. The writeup here is my own experience, when I submitted this to the libchrist site, we weren't completely comfortable with being quite that open with the rest of the world, so I had them change the names. Also, I know that this gave some the idea that I'm aligned with the libchrist site, which I'm not. I gave this to them, because they gave me the best understanding of what HAI was about, when I was looking. http://www.libchrist.com/background/ExperienceSept05.html I should also put the link in for HAI http://www.hai.org Again, I am not affiliated with HAI other than as someone who has done a couple of the workshops. I'm not "selling" it, but I think it's a wonderful thing and I'm telling my friends about it. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
