I am trying to add a PCB mount spade terminal (Keystone part, similar to 1287) as an Eagle component. Ideally I'd like two pads with a really thick PCB trace on either the top or the bottom layer. Laying out the two pads (called A and B in my package design) is easy. Drawing the symbol means I need two pins, which is also easy. I called one P and one P@1. This SEEMS to be the trick to tell Eagle they are the same pin. However, when I place it, they are not connected on the PCB. If I change the pins from passive to power, they are. However, it seems that all the P@1 pins are connected together then, which is REALLY not what I want -- it appears it is renaming the net it connects to as "P". Any suggestions?
