Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if the ICD2 can be used on the 16F628A at 3.3V? I'm having a problem where I can program the chip once but cannot erase or debug. I am powering the 628A from its own regulator and the Vdd pin on the ICD2 is being connected to this 3.3V supply (and the option to power the PIC from the ICD2 is disabled).

If this is not a good idea, can someone recommend an 18 or 20 pin pic with UART which will work at 3.3V with the ICD2? Preferably something inexpensive since this is a fairly cost-sensitive project if it ends up going into production.
