No, I was using the same analogy that John Nall used when he signed off from
OT.  He said that some of the OT discussions felt like an annoying kid
screaming during dinner.

Yes.  The thread about what is knowable sounds a lot like philosophical
discussion a few 100 years about about how many angels can dance on the head
of a pin.

I wasn't discussing what was knowable or not, only suggesting that there are
better criteria for deciding whether a PIClist thread is relavant.
