I've never used Outlook, only Outlook Express. I always assume Outlook just had other features tacked onto OE. Have you tried this anyway. Maybe it's just warning that the quoted text won't be spell checked. Try misspelling a word in your new text and see if it catches it. Besides, that stuff is for wussies.
