What you mean is that no one posted a general message to everyone on the piclist saying that they had, right? :-) It does pose a bit of a quandary. actually, because by the very nature of the request the invitation has to be sent to him personally -- it cannot just be posted on the piclist. So it would require a second posting, to the piclist, to tell everyone "Hey, everyone -- you don't need to do it because I already did it!" Which means that people all over the world would receive that message. On the other hand, though, it has the virtue of the guy getting a million invites, rather than, say, 2000. So which is the better use of bandwidth? (Yeah, I know.
