> Monroe's Indian. > Well, almost. More like Hopkins' Indian. > This is the motorcycle used in the film "The World's Fastest > Indian". > A replica but unbelievably 'real'. > An extremely credible and creditable result. > http://russellmc.fotki.com/people/indian The upload stopped part way through - after about ?30 photos. There are now about 60 photos there. Someone quite justifiably commented that there were no overall shots of the bike to show all the closeup bits in context. There are some more general shots in the latter photos BUT I purposefully left out wider views at this stage as the surroundings ruin the feel. The photos were taken in a clothing shop. The bike had descriptive signs all over and around it and a barrier. I was given permission to remove the signage to take photos but the wider views really spoil the feel. At some stage, if I can't find the bike in a more appropriate environment, I will probably edit one or two of the overall shots to remove the background. In the meanwhile - those who want any number of wider views should go and see the movie - I'll provide the detailed shots that the movie won't give you :-) RM -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
