There's a communications add-on for the TDS210 scope that adds
rs232, parallel, and hpib interfaces for communications with
printers and computers.  I'd like one for my 210, but it's $350
MSRP, and I'd probably only use the rs232 port.  I don't suppose
that there are any third-party equivalents with less functionality
at a lower price (or even (gasp) something modern like USB?)  I
took a quick google around and didn't see anything, or any specs
on the interface for that matter.   I guess tektronix keeps it
pretty proprietary?  Sigh.  Seems like a good application for one
of those USB 18F PICs...
