A book i would recomend to anyone starting with PIC's is 'PIC in practice by D.W. Smith (NEWNES) if you wait 'till next year a new (updated) edition should be out which covers newer pic's and documenting and making projects with MPLAB.This is one of the best PIC books i've read at any price. there are usually 35 instructions minimum;but like any language you don't HAVE to use ALL the words! ----- Original Message ----- From: "R.
