This thread reminds me of the nice tasting soupish stuff in had in an outdoor Mongolian barbeque restaurant (each group gets their own tent to eat in) in Taichung, Taiwan some years ago. I made the mistake of asking afterwards what it was. "A mixture", they said, "of chicken eggs and goat's eggs". (There were spare goats in pens outside the tent).
