I disassembled two Li_ion=20 pack. One from miniDV and one from laptop. I found both have problem of over=20 voltage. for 3.6V Li-ion,=20 constant V reach >4.2V.=20 I didn't see any experiemental=20 data about damage of over=20 voltage to Li-ion. But, I can often read V is critical in=20 Li-ion charging. What =20 100mV over V will do to Li-ion bettery? If I can't find positive data about 100mV over voltage, I think I will charger all of my Li-ion battery by=20 my own charger. It has at least 5%=20 accuracy of V. Or, I will re-adjust=20 all my Li-ion battery charger. Also, I bought some new OME Li_ion battery and replaced one my laptop battery=20 pack and one of my miniDV battery pack. The result, is perfect! 1/10 of cost=20 and "endless" battery running time. Any body else think of maitaining Li-ion=20 battery? -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
