I'm not the one that you call "you", but anyway... :-)

I think there are some PIC18 types
where there is one "base" modell and then a very similar
model with just some extra peripherial. Might have been one
of the "motor control" modells. I think it was Rob Hammerling=A8
that reported this. The base model and the one with the
"motor controll" peripherial shared IDs. And as far as I know,
they are completely similar from the point of view of
the HEX file, one had just a few extra SFRs.

Now, of course it *could* be interesting  to know which
of them is currently in the programmer ! :-)
